Design a parametric boxin four steps

Box Generator turns a shape, a lid style, and a few dimensions into a ready-to-slice set of STL files — right in your browser. This is the shape-to-shelf walkthrough.

1
Box body

Pick a shape and set the outer size

Every box starts as a rectangular or cylindrical body. Set the outer dimensions, then dial in wall and floor thickness.

Shape
Rectangular · cylindrical
Outer width × depth
mm (rectangular)
Outer diameter
mm (cylindrical)
Outer height

2
Removable side plates

Add removable panels to any wall

Open up any wall — north, east, south or west — and fit it with a plate you can slide out and back in.

Walls
North · east · south · west
Plate styles
Solid · flush plug · air vent grid · custom holes
Plate thickness

Hole pattern
Diameter · rows/columns · offset
Each checked wall gets its own opening sliced from the top rim; vertical rails inside hold a plate you can slide out and back in.
3
Lid & hardware

Choose a lid and the hardware

Five lid styles, each with its own fit. Screw-on lids get heat-set threaded inserts sized to match.

Lid style
Screw-on · hinged · snap lock · slide · threaded screw-top
Lid thickness

Insert dimensions can auto-set from the chosen size, or be tuned manually under Advanced.
4
Export

Send it to your slicer

Every part exports as its own STL, already flat on the bed. All units are millimeters.
